US Marine Corps Extra-Planetary Expedition Force Luna

The first unit painted in 2016 is from GZG's Moongrunt range.

Things of beauty, I'll let the sculpts speak for themselves.

Next up: the Chinese unit from the same range.

    2. Fodder for miniature conspiracy theorists, no doubt: "are our troops REALLY on Mars? What if the war is faked? Wake up, sheeple!"

Great figures. I love the low-key tan with subtle accent colour.

    3. Haha! No, it's worse than that, this is Moongrunt. We're fighting on the moon!

Thanks Allison, it's supposed to be very near future so I wanted to try to make it a bit familiar looking.

    1. Thanks Paul. I've got a load more waiting patiently to be painted now, including the heavy weapons. I'll have to paint them soon, he's released a load more already!

    2. Yes, I saw that the Rovers and buggies are now out - they look fantastic!
I'd like to see a sniper variant as well. I imagine a well placed sharp shooter could do a lot of damage on the moon!
The GZG UNSC Hard suited marines would make a nice 3rd faction too - UN backed corporation perhaps?

    3. I like the way you're thinking... apart from the fact that it could cost me more money ;)
