I'm not sure I do much di...Wow, thanks Buckeye.<br />I'm not sure I do much different to a lot of people really. Except take a lot longer about it due to lack of time usually. I've never considered writing about how I paint because I'm usually looking for tips myself.<br /><br />I always undercoat black and don't tend to drybrush, except on the base obviously, just building up a few layers with thinned acrylic paint. Thinned paint helps the layers blend but you'll often need to apply them a few times as they can be quite translucent. More reflective spots are better done with a slightly more opaque mix.<br />Other than that it's just a case of a steady hand, a good point on my brush (not necessarily an expensive one, but go for sable) and patience.
